On Thursday November 2and, 2023, the President of the Republic, His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye attended the ceremonies organized at the Umuco stadium of Muyinga province (North East of country), marking the 29th an-niversary of World Teachers' Day.
The day was celebrated under the main theme: "The Teachers we need for the education we want", coinciding with the theme chosen at national lev-el: "Teachers-educators, let's commit ourselves to the education of our chil-dren, so that they put forward the val-ues of Ubuntu and work, sources of sustainable development".
